This is something we were missing in Timisoara (Romania) since I started into the digital dentistry era in march 2010 as a dental technician using 3shape and later in march 2013 when we finally got the first DOF Freedom scanner and Exocad.The intraoral scanners still generate some intersections between the jaws that only Bite-Finder can change the right way. But many doctors still prefer the classic way for impressionsbeven for some simple single crowns or bridges and for example in the case the silicone impression looks great, and you don’t want to waist time to turn it into a gips model and you didn’t get a bite registration, you can simply scan the upper- and lowerjaw as impression and let Bite-Finder do its magic to find the right occlusion and it also generates a jawmotion file that is more accurate then the standard movement from exocad.High costly remakes are now history. I was skeptical when I heard about
Bite-Finder, tested it, but what amazed me, is when I tried it on real case. It was an IOS difficult case, and almost impossible to bring back the patient to take a new bite registration. Bite-Finder was able to get it correctly, 100/100. I guess it will be on my most used 3d softwares. I hope it will be implemented in the major softwares and Intraoral scanners.

I have been using Bite-Finder for several difficult denture patients that we have had trouble recording ICP. We have used the software for both partially dentate patients with and without ICP. Some patients who have had trouble finding static occlusion. With each and every case Bite-Finder has identified the ideal bite and occlusal record in a matter of moments with, what I would say, a near enough 100% accuracy. There have been a couple of cases where minor adjustments to try in dentures have been made, but with Bite-Finder, this is becoming the exception rather than the rule. I would recommend this software for all cases from both the laboratory and clinical perspective where the occlusion is in question.
