Crashes when loading model
- The graphical user interface (GUI) crashes unexpectedly.
- Software becomes unresponsive or closes suddenly during use.
Possible cause
This issue may occur because the NVIDIA graphics card is not set as the default high-performance card for our software. When the integrated graphics card is used instead of the dedicated NVIDIA card, it might lack the necessary capabilities or resources, leading to crashes or performance issues.
Explanation
Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems with dual graphics options (integrated and dedicated NVIDIA graphics) often default to using the less powerful integrated graphics for certain applications to conserve power. However, for graphics-intensive software, this can cause instability and crashes if the settings are not adjusted to utilize the dedicated graphics card.
Solution
Set NVIDIA Graphics Card as Default for the Software
- Right-click on the desktop and select NVIDIA Control Panel.
- Under 3D Settings, click on Manage 3D settings.
- Select the Program Settings tab.
- Find and select our software from the list of programs. If it is not listed, click on Add and choose our software from the installed applications or browse to the program’s executable file.
- Under the preferred graphics processor, select High-performance NVIDIA processor.
- Click Apply to save the changes.
Additional Recommendations
Update Graphics Drivers
Ensure your NVIDIA graphics card drivers are up-to-date to improve compatibility and performance.
Power Settings
